Honolulu, Hawaii - June 6-11, 2012
96th Annual King Kamehameha Floral Celebration Parade

Aloha! Welcome to Hawaii. Oahu is both an island paradise and the hub of the Aloha state. Pineapple plantations dot the center of the island, while acres of sugarcane march down the slopes towards the sea. Scores of beach parks dot the island's coastline. Honolulu, the state capital and business center, and the nearby legendary beach resort of Waikiki offer non-stop action and cosmopolitan flair. Be part of a wonderful working vacation in one of the world's most beautiful playgrounds! March in the 96th Annual Kind Kamehameha Floral Celebration Parade. Perform on the USS Missouri.

Be part of the month-long King Kamehameha Floral Celebration with its colorful floral floats, local Hawaiian Pa'u riders and marching bands from the islands and the mainland celebrate the legacy of King Kamehameha. You will have daily rehearsals at the University of Hawaii. But there is also time to explore Hawaii.

Soak up the sun and sand at the famed Waikiki, a haven for surfing, sailing, canoeing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming and more. Enjoy an authentic Hawaiian Luau, at the ocean's edge, under the stars and palm trees. Enjoy breakfast at the Shore Bird's Beach Broiler overlooking the famous Waikiki beach. Kick back at a wonderful beach BBQ with your fellow band members. You'll also dine at the Hard Rock Café-Honolulu, Jimmy's Buffet and others.

Experience native lifestyles from centuries ago at the incredible Polynesian Cultural Center. See islanders from seven Pacific nations make clothing from bark, create fire from coconuts, reenact war dances and wield dangerous fire knives. The cultures of Polynesia are introduced in architecturally authentic compounds where music, dance and cultural performances provide a definitive sense of the Pacific's diversity. Enjoy the spectacular evening show, Hā: Breath of Life, featuring a cast of over 100 islanders performing traditional Polynesian songs, dances in the dramatic 2,800-seat Pacific Theater.

Honor America's sacrifices at Pearl Harbor. Spend the day with a ranger-guided boat trip, lunch on Ford Island and the Battleship Missouri. Explore the entire island of Oahu another day, seeing Hanauma Bay, Diamond Head, the Blow Hole, Dole Pineapple Plantation, the wonderful beaches and Pali Lookout. See tranquil coves, breakers crashing against rocky cliffs and the major agricultural regions. Waikiki remains surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The island's splendid Waianae Mountains in the west rise 4,000 feet above sea level, while the green Loolau range crossing the middle of Oahu rises to heights of more than 3,000 feet.
